The June 2025 edition of the Dublin Economic Monitor was launched on June 10th, marking the 10th anniversary of the publication. The event focused on how Dublin’s economic landscape has developed and evolved over the past decade.
Below is a video of the launch which took place in the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin. Proceedings were opened by Councillor Janet Horner, representing the Lord Mayor, followed by Grant Thornton’s Chief Economist Andrew Webb who gave an overview of the current economic climate.
Lorcan Blake, Director of Economic Advisory at Grant Thornton joined Jamie Cudden, Executive Manager at Dublin City Council, for a fireside chat reflecting on the past decade of the Dublin Economic Monitor. Oliver Clark, European Economist at MasterCard, then shared emerging Irish and European retail trends based on MasterCard’s spending data.
The event was closed by Fingal County Council’s Chief Executive AnnMarie Farrelly.
